It was built nearby by the baron Labonia to a convent devoted to S. Vincenzo. It rises to peak on the sea and you/he/she is surrounded by a park rich in exotic plants.
During the years you/he/she has had different owners, from the publishing Astor to Geertsema with which it definitely assumed the name of Villa Triton. Over that for his/her incomparable beauty, the Villa famous, has been made for having given hospitality to Benedict Croce during the bombardments on 1942 Naples; for the presence of Togliatti, De Nicola and of the king Umberto of Savoia.
To everything today the Villa is of private ownership and therefore not visitable to its inside.
